MINISTRIES

Here are some of the Ministries FUEL offers:

SPECIAL NEEDS

LARGE GROUP

Our youth group is open to all 6 through 12th-grade students and meets regularly on Sunday nights (during the school year) from 4:30-6:00pm in the Gym of the Family Life Center. Our regular meetings include food, games, small group discussions on Scripture, worship music, serving people with special needs every 4th Sunday, and doing various service projects.

SUMMER: In the summer we do not meet weekly, but have a lot of stuff going on. Check out our calendar and website to stay in the loop.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
9:45am-10:45am

1) Middle School Sunday School Class: Every Sunday in Classroom 4 (Family Life Center)

2) High School Sunday School Class: Every Sunday in Classroom 3 (Family Life Center)

3) Special Needs Sunday School Class: Every Sunday in Classroom 2 (Family Life Center) 6th grade and up.

CONFIRMATION CLASS

We have confirmation class every year starting in the fall for eighth grade students. This is one of the greatest decisions these young people will ever make, to follow Christ and join the church, so we spend several months together building relationships, learning, going on retreats, doing service projects, etc.

MISSION TRIPS

Appalachia Service Project: This is our annual summer mission trip for high school students and adults. We go to serve families in Appalachia by spending time with them and helping make their homes warmer, safer, and dryer. Must be a rising 9th grader and at least 14 years old.
Registration begins in the Fall!

YouthWorks: This is our annual summer mission trip for all middle school students, selected high school student leaders, and adults. YouthWorks mission trip connects students to God, each other and the site community.  Priority goes to those students who have completed 6th grade in spring 2019 through students who finished 8th grade in spring 2019.                                 Registration begins in the Fall!

Magical Mountain Christmas: This is an annual winter mission trip where we help take Christmas to impoverished families in Appalachia. After collecting information and shopping for children and families, we go up to the mountains on the second weekend in December to throw a big birthday party for Jesus. We invite all of the families to come to enjoy crafts, games, food, and the Christmas story. We have a high school group and a family group that goes up. Spots are limited.                                                      Registration begins in the Fall!
